Nail Boat

2020 Global Game Jam

illustrations illustrations illustrations illustrations illustrations illustrations illustrations
This game was created in 42 hours with a team of seven. It's about nailing down anything in order to stop a sinking ship. The sloppy physics was intended for slapstick humor to alleviate the player's fear of failure. The team mates were friends from Sheridan's Game Design, along with a level design graduate, an artist, and programmers inexperienced with game development. I was responsible for writing tasks for the team to achieve, was consulted on game feedback and flow, and some coding. Watch the trailer under the gallery.
